Gary Wilson's Post - Cadillac CTS, What a ride! POST NOW CLOSED FOR COMMENTS.

Hey guys and gals please post comments for Gary Wilson right below my comments here!!!!!!!!!! Thanks

Hello to everyone! I am driving a beautiful pearl white Cadillac CTS compliments of the very nice people at Ritchey Cadillac. I picked up the stylish CTS last night and was shown all the bells and whistles by their professional staff. Let me tell you, the ride is amazing. The CTS is so stylish and sexy on the outside and set up like a cockpit on the inside. The CTS has comfortable leather seats and great sounds from the sound system. The CTS even has the On-Star system, which at the touch of a button you can have turn by turn directions to the moon if you like. The amount of passenger room in the CTS surprised me. I am 6' 1" and had no problems adjusting the driver's seat to a perfect fit and my sons Gary Jr (20) and Garrett (14) fit comfortably in the back seats. Let the adventure begin!

Wow this Cadillac CTS handles like a dream. It handles like a sports car but is like a luxury car inside! Oh, that right it's a Cadillac!! Going to use the On-Star to get turn by turn directions to a nice place for lunch and maybe get turn by turn directions to find my way back home, ha ha!

The kids that benefit from the Port Orange Toys for Tots program will be thrilled with the support that the folks at Ritchey Cadillac will give them this Christmas. Thanks again!

Well what a day, put some miles on the Cadillac CTS and it performed like a quality car would. I see now why people get hooked on the On-Star system. It is so easy to use, helpful and convenient!

Hello to all, unfortunately today is a 24hour shift day at the fire department. The Cadillac CTS is parked in the firefighter of the year parking spot in front of Port Orange at Station 73. It is in full view for all to see and drool over, ha ha! I want to thank all that have been blogging for Toys for Tots! Thanks for all your support on the blog, keep it coming!

So, the wife borrows the Cadillac CTS yesterday to do a little sightseeing and said she had a blast. So headed back home after a 24hr shift this morning so I could hop into the CTS and take my son to middle school and guess what. No CTS to be found, but my wife's car is conveniently in the garage. Guess who still has the CTS, I want the CTS back!!!!! ha ha ha

Wow, what a great day with the Cadillac CTS. I am getting so used to having the On-Star system. It makes navigation so easy, the customer service reps are all super nice and very helpful. On-Star is definitely a must have when I get a Cadillac.

Matt Minaberry

I am picking up my Cadillac DTS in the morning. I am so excited! I do not know what color it will be. Check out the color options and let me know what color you think it will be. Tell you tomorrow.

Well I am on my way. The Cadillac DTS is Vanilla Latte. That is an off white. I have only driven a few miles so far, but this is going to be a great weekend. I'll keep you posted.

We drove to Tampa to watch the Ducks Beat the Lightning. It was a great game. The Ducks won in a shoot of 2 to 1. This car is one of the best riding cars I have ever driven. Thank you for the comments and keep them coming.

We went and saw the Phantom of the Opera in Orlando last night. I took My wife for our 4th anniversary. We had a great time. The show was very good. The ride over was smooth and comfortable. My family loves this car.

We went to my niece's birthday party yesterday. She turned 5 years old. She was so excited when she was opening her presents. Now it is back to work. I only get to drive the Cadillac for two more days. Bummer! Please keep the comments rolling in for our charity. Thank you to all who have written in.

Well this my last day with this Cadillac DTS. This car has everything. I have seen heated seats before but this car has three different temperatures of heat. It also has cooling seats. After about 3 to 5 minutes of having the cooling seats on it feels like you are sitting on a refrigerator. One of the features I like most about the Cadillac is the parking sensors in front and rear. Last night I was able to use the parking sensor in the front when it was raining and I felt comfortable with the distance between me and the vehicle that was taking up part of my space. Being 6'03" tall it is hard to find a vehicle that has enough leg room. I had more then enough leg room in the Cadillac DTS. I was even able to move the seat forward and still be comfortable. The most fun feature is the remote start. Besides people telling me that the like my car everywhere I go. It is neat to see their faces when the car starts with nobody in it. Most of all, it makes my driveway look nice.

Please get your last comments in. I have to return this Beautiful Cadillac in the morning and the clock stops. We want to be able to give to a charity. So everybody let me know what charity WE will be giving to.

Congratulations to the Winners

This morning's tribute to the Police Officers and Firefighters of the Year was a great end to the City Manager's Breakfast.

Each recipient will 'paint the town' in a brand new Cadillac SRX or CTS - driver's choice. They will blog their comments about the Cadillac model they're driving in the post with their name. Thanks to our partners in this promotion for the wonderful suprises received by each officer: Gift Baskets by Design, Stonewoods, Aunt Catfish's On the River, Bahama House, Aku Tiki, Let's Face It, Congo River Golf.

Now, it's our turn to 'vote' for one of the winners by following their blog postings and writing a comment. Each comment is worth $1.00, and the driver with the most comments will receive up to $250 for the charity of their choice.

The winners will be scheduling their 'drive date' during the next week, and we'll post details on this blog.
